Initial business idea was representation of Cassia Protective Coatings – producer of marine paints. As representation area not only Lithuania were targeted  but Latvia and Estonia as well. However a year later cooperation with CPC stopped for some reasons.  At that time region economies were booming and Baltmarine Trading were taking the opportunity on various fields, without long focusing to any particular one. 

The situation changed radically since May 2007, when Baltmarine Trading manager become Dipl. Eng. Raimondas Strašinskas – Navallist by education and soul. Baltmarine Trading UAB now is a marine trading and services company, with strong base and clear view of its position in the market now and in future.  Continuous seeking of knowledge base, quality applying in every our step and business transparency are those pillars we are based upon.

Logically we split our activities into two branches. One is general shipchandling or ships supply (see Services), which we do  perform not only in Klaipeda but also in other neighboring ports. We are offering literally everything for normal ship and crew functionality 24/7.  As standard at Baltmarine, priority is given to quality, prices are kept on reasonable level.  

Another branch appeared from our constant desire to seek for best - the best product or the best solution. We do carefully select and offer to the whole Baltics (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia ) marine market products from manufacturers who are the leaders in their field. Among those companies are such names like WINTEB – Netherlands based, Worlds largest manufacturer of aluminum air pipe heads, which we believe are best in design and functionality. Or IHC Lagersmit with best quality lip seals for propeller and other rotating shafts. Ecovia from France, with a very top of the line product for gasoline economy. Moreover the specialty corrosion coating maker and applicator SF-Gard of Reinbek, Germany. We are proud to be representatives of those and another companies here in Baltics (see Products).
